Payment Information and Guidelines 

Thank you for your interest in Riverdog Farm’s Organic Veggie Box Delivery Program. Your support benefits both our farm and your family. The program provides us with a reliable group of customers and a steady outlet for our produce. This network helps us better plan and manage the cycle of planting, harvest, and crop rotation. Subscribers benefit by eating seasonal, organic produce that are harvested a day prior to delivery. You have a direct link to the land and to the farmers who grow your food!

Please read the following payment information and guidelines regarding our veggie box delivery program.

Payment Information

Each veggie box delivery is $16. Payments can be made on a monthly or quarterly basis in advance of the calendar month. To make appropriate monthly payments, count the number of delivery days in a month and multiply by $16 per delivery day.

Monthly Subscription Payments:           

$64 for four deliveries in a month
$80 for five deliveries in a month

Quarterly Subscription Payments:           

$208 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarter of 2007
$192 for the 4th quarter of 2007

We accept checks and money orders. Do not send cash. Make checks payable to Riverdog Farm and mail payments to:

The subscription renews each month. You will not receive bills. We send payment reminders by email or phone and in our newsletter.

Late payments and delinquent account status may disrupt deliveries.

Delivery Skips and Subscription Cancellation

To skip a delivery, notify us by phone or email at least two days prior to delivery day. If we do not receive the notice at least two days prior to delivery day and the delivery is made, you will be charged for the veggie box whether or not you pick it up.

If you skip a prepaid delivery, it will berescheduled to the end of your             prepaid deliveries.

To cancel your subscription, notify us by phone or email at least two days prior to delivery day. If we do not receive the notice at least two days prior to delivery day and the delivery is made, you will be charged for the veggie box whether or not you pick it up.

You will receive confirmation of cancellation and the closing balance. A negative closing balance must be resolved for the cancellation to be         completed. A refund check will be issued for any credit or deliveries remaining on account.

Pick Up Information and Guidelines

Please be respectful of your host’s area and pick up your boxes on time.

Deliveries are available for pick up between 3 and 7 PM (a few sites have different pick up times).

If you are unable to pick up your box during the designated pick up times, please notify us as soon as possible. Hosts are authorized to donate or share veggie boxes left beyond the following afternoon of the delivery day.

We do not guarantee the quality of the produce if picked up after delivery day. We do not issue refunds or credits for veggie boxes not picked up on delivery day.

Each site is issued a veggie box sign-out sheet.

If your name appears on the sheet, please take a veggie box and initial your name on the sheet.

If your name does not appear on the sheet, do not take a veggie box. Please contact us, and we will resolve the miscommunication.

Return your cardboard box from the previous week. We reuse the boxes. Please flatten your box and leave it in a neat stack at the site.

To flatten your box, turn the box upside down and slowly remove the bottom side flaps by pressing down at the center and sliding them out towards the sides.

Please, disassemble boxes with care. A well-maintained box can last four to five deliveries, reducing waste and cost.
